Who We Think the Top 5 Rookie Receivers Will Be

To say that this years draft class was full of potential future greats at the receiver position would be an understatement. I truly can see us looking back at the 2022 draft class as an all time great. This was on of the harder discussions we’ve had but we got the top five receivers who could have a great year this year.

#5 Jameson Williams - Detroit: If Jamo can come back quickly he could contend with Justin Jefferson for best receiver in the NFC North. But with the ACL injury, Jared Goff at QB, and the Lions having St. Brown and now DJ Chark his numbers could be lower. Even with all that against him, it’s hard to ignore his talent which is why he’s here at #5.

#4 Garett Wilson - New York Jets: Very similar situation with Williams as with Wilson here. His talent and what he showed at Ohio State can’t be understated. He will have sophomore QB Zach Wilson throwing to him. Who in 13

games last season had a 55% completion percentage, 9 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions. Having A weapon like Garett Wilson could help those numbers trend upwards this year.

#3 Drake London - Atlanta: The next three really could go in any order. London is going to be a stud whether it’s Mariota or Ridder throwing to him. Sure the Saint and Bucs have two of the best secondaries in the NFL but Atlanta doesn’t have any options to throw to other than Kyle Pitts. We expect London to thrive in the ATL in 2022.

#2 Chris Olave - New Orleans: Without a doubt in my mind the Saints are winning the NFC South and Olave will help them do it. Olave is a do-it-all kind of receiver; great route runner, get away speed, and elusive. He will be what Michael Thomas once was.

#1 Skyy Moore - Kansas City: Skyy Moore is easily in the best position that a rookie receiver could be in. Future HOF-er Patrick Maholmes as your gunslinger and getting plugged into an explosive offense that help Tyreek Hill thrive. No doubt he’ll have the best rookie campaign from this draft class.
