In The Bettors Corner: Week 2 Best Bets

Not a bad way to start the season cashing two of three tickets. Do that all year, and we're making money. Might have been 3-0 if Fitzpatrick doesn't go down in the second quarter for Washington. But still a good day. On to week 2...

Minnesota Vikings at Arizona Cardinals

4:05pm ET

The overtime game in Cincinnati coupled with the way Arizona played in Tennessee last week, has driven this line from Arizona -1 to 3-. Too many points here for a Minnesota team who can move the ball on the ground with Dalvin Cook. Don't expect Chandler Jones to have five sacks again, and Minnesota desperate not to go 0-2. Justin Jefferson and Adam Thielen will be a handful for the Cardinal secondary. Expect a shootout in the desert and take the points.

BET: Minnesota +3-

Dallas Cowboys at Los Angeles Chargers

4:25pm ET

Is there a dumber coach in the NFL than Mike McCarthy? After having a whole off-season to prepare for Tom Brady, he decided the best thing to do is get into a shootout with the future hall of famer! Dallas has no defense. They can't stop anyone. Chargers looked good in Washington, and Justin Herbert can flat out throw the ball. Better defense, better coaching, and playing at home is good enough for me. Chargers by a touchdown.

BET: Chargers -3

Buffalo Bills at Miami Dolphins

1:00pm ET

Another game that has pushed through the key number of 3. The game opened at 2-. The public is definitely banking on Buffalo to bounce back from the week one beating from Pittsburgh. Buffalo can't run the ball, and it sure can't pass block as Josh Allen was chased all day. Miami was solid if not spectacular in New England and the defense bent but didn't break. Usually humid this time of year in Miami which will wear Buffalo down late. Two division rivals play this one tight to the vest. Take the home dog.

Dolphins +3-

Season record: 2-1
