In The Bettors Corner: Week 11 Best Bets.

Updated: Nov 20, 2021

After a crazy week nine, things got back to normal with Dallas, Kansas City, and Buffalo all winning big and looking like what we thought they were. Super Bowl contenders. Only Tampa Bay struggled coming off a bye week, but my guess is they will be fine. Poor Detroit, they may go 0-16-1! How many chances did they have to win that game Sunday in Pittsburgh? They will pick first, it will be a quarterback, and Jared Goff will be shown the door, 3-0 last week, on to week 11...

Baltimore Ravens at Chicago Bears

1:00pm ET

Can you look any worse than the Ravens did on Thursday night in Miami? After beating the Vikings in overtime and going to play the Dolphins on a short week, they were favored by 8 and lost outright. With head coach John Harbaugh being 9-0 against Miami straight up and against the spread, Vegas was pounded with Baltimore money, and of course, Vegas cashed. The Ravens are a tough team to figure out; they run the ball but again struggle through the air and are too easy to defend at times. Chicago's coming off their bye week and actually looked good on Monday night football in Pittsburgh there last game. Justin Fields looks like he is getting better, making throws and using his feet to keep plays alive. They still lack explosive players on the outside but find a way to hang around games; Green Bay, San Francisco, and Pittsburgh all close losses. You would think coming off a bye week, Justin Fields would be even more comfortable with the offense, but this is still Matt Nagy, and the Ravens won't be in a pleasant mood. John Harbaugh is one of the best coaches in the league, and a couple of extra days off to prepare for Fields will do the trick. Ravens by a touchdown.

BET: Baltimore -4.5

Miami Dolphins at New York Jets

1:00pm ET

Mike White is in the hall of fame, Joe Flacco is a super bowl winning quarterback, and Zach Wilson is the second overall pick. What a quarterback room for the Jets. And the winner of the week 11 start against the Dolphins is... Joe Flacco. I don't get this one, Mike White has done nothing to lose the job except for throwing four picks Sunday, but no one is perfect. Flacco is a sitting duck in the pocket; he doesn't run, he barely moves! The Jets' offensive line is terrible. Maybe head coach Robert Saleh has Miami in a survivor pool. The Dolphins have won two in a row but clearly have issues at quarterback. After beating the lowly Texans, they outlasted a Ravens team that was going through the motions on Thursday night. It seems whoever is under center, the Dolphins have trouble scoring points, Jacoby Brissett is awful, and I'm not sure Tua can stay healthy, and even if he can, he is reluctant to run and take unnecessary hits. The only weapon they have is tight end Mike Gieseki, and he is doubled most of the time. This definitely isn't a must-watch game; they are both bad team's but starting Joe Flacco just seems wrong here. Dolphins in a close one.

BET: Miami -3

Dallas Cowboys at Kansas City Chiefs

4:25pm ET

The game of the day may be in Kansas City, where the Dallas Cowboys bring their 7-2 record to Arrowhead to face the Chiefs, who are winners of three straight themselves. Kansas City finally looked like, well, Kansas City in the second half in Las Vegas Sunday Night, scoring 24 second-half points and sending the Raiders to their second straight loss. Andy Reid is too good a coach, and Patrick Mahomes is too talented a quarterback not to adjust to defenses taking away the big plays and making them go the distance of the field. They will be fine; the defense, on the other hand, may not be. Don't be fooled by their last three games; the Giants are averaging 19 points a game, the Packers didn't have Aaron Rodgers, and the Raiders are ready to implode with everything they have been dealing with. In comes Dallas, with one of the best offenses in the league. Dak is having an MVP kind of year, Zeke is healthy, and they have one of the most talented receiving core in the NFL. This should be a fun game in the 4 o'clock time slot; Dallas just has too many weapons for the Chiefs to account for. Chiefs will get their points, but it won't be enough. Dallas in a shootout.

BET: Dallas +2.5
